Hi, I'm Vivian 😀
Growing up as a people person, I always want to pursue a career that could work and help people's lives. This desire led me to pursue master's in Human-Computer Interaction in IUPUI, Indiana, and turned myself from UX Researcher into UX Designer.
Throughout 3.5 years working as Product Designer, I have worked on a variety of projects and teams, including building a new 0 to 1 educational tool at design studio, leading first workshop at Startup, and revamping better campaign experience at Yahoo Ads.
In addition to my work, I'm passionate about traveling, writing and readings in my spare time. I am also a full-trained Yoga Teacher who help students find balance in their daily lives.

As a product designer at Yahoo, I led to redesign the campaign setup workflow within 8 months on Yahoo DSP (Demand Side Platform) for advertisers. Two key user flows were designed and iterated to meet user needs and goals identified from user research and usability study.
2021 —2022
OneTrust, UX Designer ll
Within 10 months in OneTrust, I owned the end-to-end design process from concept scoping to execution for IT & Security Management Platform, built under GRC (Governance Risk Compliance) cloud, to support both second and first line security teams effectively identify, mitigate and monitor risk within their organizations.
2020 — 2021
Prism Studio, UX Designer
I worked with product owner and development team to gather quick feedback, and shipped the responsive application within 6 months. I also established and continued updating the Design System for the team to make sure we are communicating on the same page.
My Design Process
Typically, my design process walk through three major stages of design. I first empathize and define key themes that I would need to research or future explore about. After learning what I'd love to collect for, I start to design and ideate using wireframes, sketches and prototype. With design assumptions in mind, I would move to the final stage which is to test with users to learn about their feedback.
Side Projects
Besides being a Product Designer, I've built a lot of side projects to challenge myself to learn new technologies and frameworks. I also challenged myself to push beyond just a designer but also try to be Product manager who serve to plan, strategize more business context with the team.
What am I like outside of work?
In addition to my role as a product designer, I am a certified RYT200 yoga teacher, trained at the esteemed Yoga Academy. Balancing both careers allows me to bring a unique perspective to my design work, integrating mindfulness and creativity.
